About Sunaras
Ancient wisdom, organized for the modern search for wellness
For thousands of years, cultures around the world have turned to plants, foods, and traditional practices long before reaching for a pill bottle. Sunaras exists to make that knowledge as easy to search as a pharmacy shelf — a free, educational reference for anyone curious about natural and traditional alternatives to conventional pharmaceuticals.

Why we built Sunaras
Modern pharmaceuticals solve real problems, but they’re rarely the only option — and for most of human history, they weren’t an option at all. Ayurveda, Traditional Chinese Medicine, African herbalism, Amazonian plant medicine, and dozens of other traditions developed sophisticated, time-tested approaches to health using what grows around us. That knowledge is often scattered, hard to verify, or locked away in academic papers.
We built Sunaras to bring it all into one place: searchable by condition, herb, food, or tradition, with clear preparation methods, safety notes, and cultural context — so anyone curious about a more natural, traditional path can start learning immediately.
Sunaras is educational, not medical advice
Everything on this site is for learning and cultural context — it is not a substitute for diagnosis, treatment, or advice from a licensed healthcare provider. Always talk to a doctor before starting, stopping, or combining any treatment, especially alongside prescription medication, pregnancy, or a chronic condition. Read our full Medical Disclaimer.
