Accessibility Statement

Last updated: May 2026

Sunaras is committed to making our website usable by everyone, including people with disabilities. This statement describes our ongoing efforts to meet accessibility standards.

Our Commitment

We aim to conform to the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at Level AA. Accessibility is an ongoing effort — we regularly review and improve the Site as we add new features.

Measures We Take

  • A "skip to main content" link for keyboard and screen reader users.
  • Visible focus indicators on interactive elements.
  • Semantic HTML headings and landmarks to support screen reader navigation.
  • Descriptive alt text on meaningful images.
  • Sufficient color contrast between text and background in our design system.
  • Forms with labeled fields and clear error messaging.
  • A responsive layout that works with browser zoom and on assistive touch devices.

Known Limitations

Sunaras is a very large, content-heavy site (tens of thousands of pages covering herbs, conditions, and recipes). While we apply the measures above sitewide through shared components, we can't guarantee every page has been individually audited. If you encounter a page that isn't accessible to you, please let us know so we can prioritize a fix.

Feedback

We welcome your feedback on the accessibility of Sunaras. If you encounter an accessibility barrier, please contact us at accessibility@sunaras.app with the page URL and a description of the issue. We try to respond within a few business days.
