14-Day Gut Microbiome Reset
Rebuild your inner ecosystem from the ground up
About this program
The gut microbiome and intestinal lining work as a system — pathogenic bacteria overgrowth, a compromised gut lining (often called 'leaky gut'), and a thin, undiverse population of beneficial bacteria tend to show up together, which is why this program follows the well-known Remove-Repair-Reinoculate structure rather than just adding probiotics on top of an unaddressed problem. Slippery elm, marshmallow root, and licorice root soothe and rebuild the gut lining, triphala supports healthy elimination, and holy basil and chamomile calm the gut-nervous system connection throughout.
How it works
Remove spends the first stretch clearing out foods and, where relevant, pathogenic organisms that feed dysbiosis; Repair is the longest phase, using the demulcent and mucilage-rich herbs to rebuild a compromised gut lining before reintroducing more challenging foods; and Reinoculate & Maintain focuses on repopulating with beneficial bacteria through diet and, ideally, a quality probiotic alongside the herbal support.
Goal
Systematically remove pathogenic gut bacteria, reduce intestinal permeability (leaky gut), rebuild the gut lining, and re-establish a healthy, diverse microbiome.
Benefits
Is this right for you?
Some dietary discipline required — best if you've completed a gentle program before.
Best suited to anyone with ongoing bloating, irregular digestion, new food sensitivities, or a recent course of antibiotics that likely disrupted their gut flora — the full two weeks reflects how long lining repair genuinely takes, not an arbitrary length.
Caution
If you have IBD (Crohn's or Ulcerative Colitis), work with a gastroenterologist alongside this protocol. Licorice root can raise blood pressure — use DGL form which has this property removed.
