Andrographis

Called 'the King of Bitters' in Asia, andrographis has been used for over 2,000 years in Ayurvedic, Traditional Chinese, and Southeast Asian medicine. Ayurvedic texts describe it as one of the most potent anti-fever and anti-infection herbs available. During the 1919 Spanish flu pandemic that killed 50 million people, andrographis was credited with preventing the epidemic from becoming even more catastrophic in India and Southeast Asia.
