Botanical background

Reynoutria multiflora (synonyms Fallopia multiflora and Polygonum multiflorum) is a species of flowering plant in the buckwheat family Polygonaceae. It is known as tuber fleeceflower and Chinese knotweed. It is native to central and southern China.
