Hypericum (Ser Chen Spras) (Hypericum hookerianum) is a herb used in the Tibetan Medicine tradition to help with Depression, Wound Healing, Anxiety, and Nerve Support. The aerial parts and leaves are the parts traditionally used, used both internally and topically.

Botanical background

Hypericum hookerianum, or Hooker's St. John's Wort, is a perennial shrub native to eastern and southern Asia. The specific name hookerianum is named for William Jackson Hooker.

Tea / Infusion

1–3 cups daily
  • Steep 1–2 tsp of dried Hypericum (Ser Chen Spras) in freshly boiled water for 5–10 minutes.
  • Cover while steeping.
