About Tepozán

Tepozán (Buddleja cordata) is a herb used in the Latin American Curanderismo tradition to help with Fever, Wound Healing, Skin Health, and Inflammation. The aerial parts and leaves are the parts traditionally used, used both internally and topically.

Botanical background

Buddleja cordata is endemic to Mexico, growing along forest edges and water courses at elevations of 1500–3000 m; it has also naturalized in parts of Ethiopia. The species was first described and named by Kunth in 1818.
