Stretching Routine

A short, dedicated routine to maintain range of motion and ease muscle tension.

10-15 minutes per session.
Daily, or after any period of prolonged sitting.

About this practice

A consistent stretching routine — separate from a full yoga or exercise practice — helps maintain joint range of motion, reduces stiffness, and can ease tension-related aches, especially for anyone who sits for long periods during the day.

How to do it

  1. Warm up briefly first (a few minutes of easy movement) — stretching cold muscles increases injury risk.
  2. Target major muscle groups: neck/shoulders, hips, hamstrings, and lower back.
  3. Hold each stretch 20-30 seconds, breathing normally — never bounce into a stretch.
  4. Stretch to the point of mild tension, never sharp pain.
  5. Repeat 2-3 times per muscle group for the best range-of-motion benefit.
